On the first day of the UP Investors Summit, Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Uttar Pradesh was a sick state, which is now slowly becoming well-being. Although this statement of our PM Narendra Modi was in reference to the state's economic and social equality. But this summit has given many blessings to make the state healthier in reality. In the summit, Union Minister of Health, Anupriya Patel and State Health Minister Siddhartha Nath Singh signed MoUs worth Rs. 3000 crores with several indigenous and foreign pharmaceutical companies.

In the summit, Health Minister Siddhartha Nath Singh said that Uttar Pradesh, which has a population of 22 crores in the country's pharmaceutical market, has 28 percent stake. According to the population and need, there is more potential in this area, and in UP there is a better resource than Maharashtra and Karnataka. UP is a fast emerging market for pharmaceuticals.

Union Minister of State for Health, Anupriya Patel informed about the plans of the central government in the field of pharmaceutical and biotechnology. He also counted the work being done by the government for mass medical and drug research.

More than Rs. 3000 crores of agreements have been signed with many companies on the first day of the Investor's Summit in order to speed up the development of pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector in Uttar Pradesh, to strengthen and strengthen employment opportunities in it.
