Bone-marrow transplant unit is ready in the MYH, but it has not been added to the oxygen supply right now. The shutdown was to be taken at 2 PM, but before the stoppage of supply, the officer arrived to investigate the system. It took about two hours. Evening 4 large oxygen supply was stopped. Prior to this, the other head of the departments including Medicine, Surgery, Infant Disease, Anesthesia were called.
MGM Medical College Dean Doctor Sharad Singh, along with all the officers of the hospital and PWD, reached. Special arrangements were made in the wards of surgical ICU, medical ICU, pediatric ICU, intensive critical care unit, nursery and other oxygen supply. Superintendent Doctor BS Pall said that the Heads of the departments were called so that they were present for the entire time. Their monitoring can ensure the delivery of oxygen to the patients.
